Commercial Kitchen Gas Ventilation Interlocks

S&S Northern has designed and developed a gas ventilation and interlock system to ensure that a commercial kitchen’s ventilation system is working before the gas is turned on. This prevents a build-up of potentially poisonous gas combustion fumes which would be harmful to the health of kitchen staff and others in the premises.

S&S Northern has supplied gas ventilation and interlock systems for commercial kitchens including in the Palace of Westminster, TV’s Hell’s Kitchen, Edinburgh Castle, Wembley, Old Trafford Cricket Ground and hundreds of restaurants, kitchens and takeaways throughout the UK.

Laboratories

With its single point gas pressure transducer, S&S Northern has developed a system which is far superior to mechanical switches and more robust and adaptable than the old two point transducers. Having the Merlin gas safety system installed protects pupils during lessons, gives the teacher control in lessons and protects the building from gas leaks and explosions out of hours. This technology has given consultants the confidence to specify the S&S Northern Merlin range of gas safety systems for schools, colleges and universities throughout the UK and mainland Europe.

Gas Detection

Whether the requirement is gas detection for a boilerhouse, car park or medical gasses, S&S Northern will be able to supply a system to meet a customer’s needs.
